Wheaton College Athletics

Three times Steve Soneson, class of 1978, brought home an NCAA Division III All-American certificate in three-meter diving (1975-77). His best was a fifth-place showing when he moved up from 10th place by nailing a “near perfect” final dive. He also was a two-time champion and record holder in the CCIW meet.
