Hall of Honor
David Hirt was a two-time CCIW Champion for the Wheaton wrestling program at 184-pounds, winning conference titles in 2001 and 2002. In 2003, he won the 184-pound weight class at the Pete Willson-Wheaton Invitational. He concluded his collegiate career in March of 2003 with a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships to earn his first career All-America recognition.
David reflects, "Wrestling at Wheaton taught me a lot about the value of setting goals and then through hard work and perseverance, pushing yourself towards accomplishing your goals." He recalls, "Winning the Pete Willson Invitational my senior year is a great memory. My parents and siblings were there to watch and it was always great to compete in a large tournament."
