A 1956 graduate, Dave Burnham helped the Crusader football team to a 27-5-1 record from 1952 to 1956. Burnham rushed for more than 1,200 career yards and returned kicks for over 1,200 more yards. Burnham was named All-CCI and was also named to three consecutive Little All-American Teams from 1953-1955, while playing a different position each season.
