Hall of Honor
“[Bob Adolph] was the kind of player that when you saw him play, you could never forget him,” said former soccer coach and fellow Hall of Honor member Bob Baptista. “The thing about Bob that was so impressive was his speed and ability to control the ball while moving rapidly. He scared everyone because he was so fast.”
As a sophomore, Bob was named to the All-Conference Second Team and was Honorable Mention All-Midwest as the Crusaders lost only one game in nine outings. Bob topped that the following year as he was a First Team selection on the All-Conference and All-Midwest teams and a Second Team All-American. He was also selected by his teammates as Crusader team MVP. As a senior, he once again received First Team All-Conference and All-Midwest honors and a second team All-American selection.
