Wheaton College Athletics

Mary Blumenshine Tilley was coached by Hall of Honor coach Ruth Berg Leedy. She was one of Wheaton’s top four players for three seasons. As a junior in 1947, she was Wheaton’s No. 1 singles player and won the Illinois state singles title and led Wheaton to the state team championship. As a senior, Mary placed second in the state championships.
