Caleb Campbell was a three-time qualifier for the Division III Wrestling Championships, earning All-American recognition as a sophomore in 1995. He won NCAA Division III Regional Championships at different weight classes in 1995 and 1996 and finished second at the Regional in 1997.Caleb posted a career record of 93-38 in his four seasons of wrestling and earned a CCIW Championship at 167-pounds in 1997.
He was a two-sport athlete, playing four seasons of football at Wheaton as well (1994-97), as a member of Wheaton's CCIW Championship team in 1995.
Caleb recalls, "I remember my wrestling coach, Seth Norton stayed up all night with me after a devastating loss at nationals. To have a friend sit with me in my time of despair meant a lot." He says of a valuable lesson learned from his time as a two-sport athlete at Wheaton, "One of the most important lessons I learned during my athletic career at Wheaton is that God is in control. No matter the circumstances God is always in control, and no matter what I feel at the time, that's how I want it to be."
