Hall of Honor
Andrew Taylor, Class of 1985, played a large role in Wheaton soccer’s success during his time with the Crusaders. Wheaton soccer teams won 64, lost 15, and tied 9 during Taylor’s four years at Wheaton, including a 21-1-2 record in 1984 which led to a National Championship. Taylor’s performance in Wheaton’s 2-1 triple overtime win over Brandeis in the National Championship match earned him Best Offensive Player honors.
Taylor finished his career with 39 goals and 35 assists, which at the time of his graduation was good for fifth in career goals and first in career assists. Taylor was a four-time All-MCSC recipient, four-time All-Midwest Region honoree and a two-time All-American.
