Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton College women's tennis team was a 9-0 victor against Carroll University at home on Friday night. The victory improves the Thunder to 6-0 on the season and 5-0 in conference play. 

Senior Katie Park won a 7-5, 6-1 decision at No. 1 singles and Sara Magnuson gained a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles. Miranda Kay won a 6-1, 6-1 decision for the Thunder at No. 3 singles and Emma Westwick was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at No. 4 singles. Claire Browning won a 6-2, 6-0 match at No. 5 singles and freshman Emme Lindquist was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at No. 6 singles.

Park teamed with Browning for an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles. The Thunder No. 2 doubles team of Kay and Magnuson won an 8-1 matchup at No. 2 doubles. Lindquist teamed with Nicole Freeman for an 8-3 victory at No. 3 doubles.

The Thunder hosts North Central on October 6 at 5:00 p.m. in a CCIW matchup with the Cardinals.
