Chicago, Ill. - The Thunder women's tennis team earned a 9-0 victory at North Park on Saturday afternoon. Wheaton improves to 4-0 on the season and 3-0 in CCIW play with today's win.

Katie Park won a 6-3, 6-0 decision at No. 1 singles and Sara Magnuson picked up a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles. Miranda Kay gained a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles and Emma Westwick was a 6-0, 6-0 victor at No. 4 singles. Claire Browning was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No.5 singles and Thunder freshman Emme Lindquist won a 6-0, 6-1 decision at No. 6 singles.

Browning and Park teamed for an 8-5 victory at No. 1 singles. Kay and Magnuson picked up an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles and the No. 3 doubles team of Lindquist and Nicole Freeman.

The Thunder will host Carthage on September 27 for a 4:30 p.m. match against the Lady Reds.
