Altamonte Springs, Fla. - The Thunder women's tennis team earned a 7-2 victory against Coe College on Thursday afternoon. Today's win improves Wheaton to 14-1 on the season.

Emily Jones earned a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles against Coe's Haley Resnick. Kirstie White was a 6-1, 6-3 victor at No. 3 singles for the Thunder and Sara Magnuson won a 6-0, 6-1 matchup at No. 4 singles. Emma Westwick earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 5 singles and Claire Browning was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at No. 6 singles.

The Thunder No. 2 doubles team of Magnuson and Miranda Kay earned an 8-0 victory. Wheaton's No. 3 doubles tandem of Anna-Katherine Barrett and Browning earned an 8-1 win.

Wheaton will close out its three-match trip to Florida on Friday with a match against John Carroll at 3:00 p.m.
