Elmhurst, Ill. - The Wheaton women's tennis team earned a 9-0 victory at Elmhurst College on Monday afternoon. The victory improves Wheaton to 8-0 on the year and 7-0 in CCIW play.

Senior Katie Park was a 6-1, 6-1 victor at No. 1 singles and Sara Magnuson was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at No. 2 singles. Miranda Kay picked up a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles and Emma Westwick earned a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles. Claire Browning was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at No. 5 singles and Emme Lindquist gained a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 6 singles.

Browning and Park teamed for an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles. Kay paired with Magnuson for an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles and the No. 3 doubles team of Lindquist and Nicole Freeman picked up an 8-4 win.

Wheaton travels to defending CCIW Champion Augustana on Saturday in a key CCIW match. The matchup between the Thunder and the Vikings will feature the only undefeated teams in CCIW play this season.
