Kalamazoo, Mich. - The Thunder women's tennis team continued its winning ways on Saturday with a 6-3 victory at Kalamazoo College. Wheaton is now 14-1 on the year, while the Hornets fall to 5-9.

Wheaton's Emily Jones earned a 6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 6-1 victory at number-three singles against Maria Franco. Sophomore Kirstie White won a 6-3, 6-1 decision at number-four single against Siani Johnson. Miranda Kay won a 6-1, 6-0 matchup against Katie Clark at number-five singles and Sara Magnuson was a 6-1, 6-0 victor at number-six singles against Sonal Bahl.

Wheaton's number-two doubles team of Jones and White earned an 8-3 victory against the KZOO tandem of Franco and Bahl. Kay and Nelson picked up an 8-5 win for the Thunder at the number-three doubles against the Hornets' pairing of Alexandria Oswalt and Eloise Germic.

The Thunder will host Lake Forest College on April 22 at 6:30 p.m.
