Wheaton, Ill. - The Thunder women's tennis team earned a CCIW win on Tuesday night with a 7-2 victory against Carthage College at home. Wheaton is now 4-2 on the year and 2-1 in CCIW play. Carthage is now 5-2 in its fall season and 3-2 in CCIW play.

Wheaton jumped out to a 3-0 lead by winning all three doubles matches against the Lady Reds. The Thunder secured the victory by winning four of the seven singles matches contested. Sarah Ray, Julie Buursma, Emily Jones and Erika Nelson each picked up singles wins for the Thunder.
