Wheaton, Ill. - The Thunder women's tennis team dropped a conference match at home on Saturday afternoon, falling to Augustana, 6-3. Wheaton is now 3-2 on the year and 2-1 in CCIW play, while Augustana improves to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in CCIW.

Augustana won two of the three doubles matches as Wheaton's Katherine Kaiser and Taylor Parrish earned an 8-6 win at number-three doubles. Wheaton also got a 6-4, 6-3 win at number-two singles from Julie Buursma and Emily Jones was a 6-4, 6-0 win at number-three singles.

Wheaton will host Carthage on September 17 at 4 PM.
