Wheaton, Ill.- The Wheaton women's tennis advanced to the championship match of the 2013 CCIW AQ Tournament with a 9-0 victory over Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday night. Wheaton has never lost a semi-final match in the history of the tournament and has given up only two points since the tournament's inception in 2007. Wheaton advances to face Augustana in the championship which will be played on Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan. Wheaton defeated Augustana in the tournament semifinals last season by a score of 8-1 and also knocked off the Vikings 7-2 earlier this season in Rock Island. Augustana advanced with a 6-3 victory over Carthage on Tuesday. Wheaton has won all but CCIW AQ Tournament since the tournament was first played.
