Kenosha, Wis. - The Wheaton women's tennis team remained undefeated with a pair of CCIW wins on Saturday at Carthage College's Smeds Tennis Center. Wheaton shut out conference rival Carthage, 9-0 in the opening match of the day. The Thunder also topped Millikin 9-0 later in the afternoon.

Today's wins extended Wheaton's regular season CCIW win streak to 48 consecutive league matches. The last conference loss for the Thunder in a CCIW contest was a 7-2 loss to Carthage on October 11, 2003.

Wheaton is now 4-0 on the year, with four conference victories. The Thunder will return to action on September 13 when the squad will host Lake Forest College.
