Wheaton, Ill. - The Thunder women's tennis team was a 9-0 victor against visting Lake Forest College on Wednesday afternoon. Wheaton improves its record for the year to 17-2.

Sarah Ray each earned singles wins and a victory at number-one doubles. The number-two doubles team of
Melanie Milling and
Marissa Shults won their match, as
Kirsten Boyer (#3-singles) and
Julia Carey (#4-singles) and Julia Nussbaum (#5-singles) also each picked up wins.
Wheaton's next scheduled competition is May 4-5 at the CCIW Automatic Qualifier Tournament in Rock Island, Illinois. The winner of the four-team tournament will earn the CCIW's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship.
