Head Swimming Coach
Jon Lederhouse has announced the addition of six women and eight men who have submitted their deposit to attend Wheaton College, with the intent to compete for the Thunder swimming and women's water polo teams beginning in the fall of 2011.
"We graduated six men and three women who were significant team members,” noted Lederhouse. “It was crucial that we pick up a strong recruiting class to fill their void. Since our women are defending CCIW champions, it is very helpful to have more coming in than we have leaving, and our men have been runners-up in the conference, so we needed some high-end performers to make a run at winning this season. In addition, we have an incoming women's water polo player from the same high school as our returning All-American.”
