Hanover Park, Ill. - After building a 3-0 lead, the Wheaton College women's tennis team held off the Coe College rally to earn a 5-4 victory on Saturday.

The Thunder improve to 13-0 while the Kohawks fall to 8-3.

Wheaton jumped ahead 3-0 by winning all of its doubles matches by identical 8-6 scores. But Coe came storming back in singles, winning spots one through four. However, clutch wins by Kirsten Boyer at No. 5 and Marissa Shults at No. 6 clinched the victory for the hosts.

Wheaton will be heading south on its spring trip to Orlando, Florida for a pair of matches on March 10 and 11.
