Wheaton, Ill. - The Thunder women's tennis team was a 9-0 winner against Elmhurst College at home on Tuesday afternoon. The match was re-scheduled from its original date of September 11 when the match was rained out on that day.

Wheaton is now 9-0 on the season and 6-0 in CCIW play. The victory against the Bluejays marked Wheaton's 40th consecutive victory in CCIW play. Elmhurst is now 4-6 overall and 1-5 in conference play.

Today's match was the final regular season match on the fall schedule for the Thunder. Wheaton's fall season will conclude on October 8-9 at the 2010 CCIW Women's Tennis Championships in Rock Island, Illinois.
