Wheaton, Ill. - The Thunder women's tennis team was a 9-0 victor at home on Monday night against CCIW foe Illinois Wesleyan. Tonight's match was re-scheduled from its original date of September 21 when the match was rained out on that day.

Wheaton is now 8-0 on the season and 5-0 in CCIW play. Tonight's win marked Wheaton's 39th consecutive victory in CCIW play. Illinois Wesleyan is now 6-3 overall and 3-3 in conference play.

The Thunder will wrap up the conference portion of its schedule on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 PM with a home match against Elmhurst College. Wheaton will travel to St. Louis, Missouri on Friday to compete at the USTA/ITA Division III Central Regional.
