Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton College women's tennis earned another conference victory with an 8-1 win over Carthage College and also swept Judson University 9-0 on Saturday.
The Thunder improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the CCIW. The Lady Reds fell to 4-2 and Judson ran its record to 0-6.
Wheaton only dropped one match on the day, which came against Carthage. Against Judson, the Thunder won all but four points in the nine matches. Judson is in its first year back as a varsity program after its recent resurrection by the university.
The Thunder's next matches will be a pair of conference matches at home against Augustana College and North Central College next Saturday, Sept. 19.
