Wheaton, Ill. - The Thunder women's tennis team defeated Illinois Wesleyan 9-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Wheaton Sports Center. Wheaton posted convincing wins in each of the single and doubles matches as the Thunder improves to 13-1 overall.
Wheaton has won all six of its matches in the spring schedule as the squad will head to Madison, Wisconsin next weekend for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Invitational tournament.
In today's victory, Thunder All-American Jordan Hook earned her 107th career singles win as she moved into a tie for fifth place in on the all-time Division III win list (see list below). Hook is now even at 107 with Washington & Lee's Ericka Shepard (1995-98).
