Bloomington, Ill. - The Thunder women's tennis team earned a pair of CCIW victories this weekend. On Friday night the Thunder defeated Millikin 9-0 and on Saturday Wheaton topped Illinois Wesleyan 9-0. Both matches were played in Bloomington and moved indoors to the Evergreen Racquet Club due to inclement weather. 

This weekend's matches were the final regular season matches of the team's fall schedule. Next weekend, Wheaton (9-1) will return to Bloomington and the Evergreen Racquet Club for the 2009 CCIW Women's Tennis Championships. Wheaton is the defending conference champion, having won the last four CCIW Titles and a conference-best 14 league titles.
