Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton track and field teams hosted the 2025 Wheaton Invitational on Saturday at McCully Stadium and Lawson Field on the Wheaton campus.
Senior
Caroline Stetina (PICTURED ABOVE) placed first in the 27-woman field of the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:46.06, finishing well ahead of the second-place time of 17:55.18. Fellow senior Natalie Fopma (PICTURED LEFT) won the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:30.91.
Sophomore
Grace Crowder won the women's high jump with a leap of 5' 4-1/2" (1.63-meters). Sophomore
Ashtin Roy placed sixth in the women's pole vault, clearing a height of 9' 10" (3.0-meters). Freshman
Allison Roozeboom placed seventh in the women's discus throw with a toss of 122' 7" (37.36-meters), and she was eighth in the shot put with a heave of 37' 5" (11.40-meters).
Freshman
Sally Elsen placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.34, and fellow freshman
Hannah Harris was eighth in the same event with a time of 1:07.91. Thunder junior
Sadie Richert finished fifth in the women's 400-meter dash with a time of 59.58-seconds, just ahead of teammate
Olivia Kiddy's time of 1:01.32 in second place. Sophomore
Heidi Krekelberg placed seventh in the women's 100-meter dash with a time of 12.74-meters.
Junior
Sarah Quintanilla posted a time of 4:51.70 in a seventh-place effort in the women's 1,500-meter run. Freshman
Emmarie Marino was eighth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:23.59.
Wheaton will also remain at home for the program's next meet, as the Thunder host the Don Church Twilight Meet on Thursday.
