Wheaton, Ill. – A pair of Wheaton College high jumpers have been selected to participate in the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama next weekend. Both
Grace Crowder and
Ty Bova will represent their respective Thunder track and field programs at the national championships.
Crowder will be part of the 20-woman field in the women's high jump when it begins on Saturday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. (CDT). Her school-record setting mark of 1.69-meters (5' 6-1/2") is tied for 10
th among the athletes selected to compete next weekend. She achieved her qualifying mark on February 13 at the Chicagoland Indoor Championships in Naperville. This is Crowder's first selection to a NCAA Track & Field Championship.
Bova is competing in the men's indoor high jump next Saturday thanks to his CCIW Championship effort of 2.06-meters (6' 9") last week in Bloomington, Illinois. His effort is tied for 10
th among the 20 competitors selected. This is his first selection to the Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships and his second overall selection. He finished 11
th at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Geneva, Ohio to earn Second Team All-America accolades from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The men's high jump is slated to begin at 3:45 p.m. (CDT) next Saturday.
