Wheaton, Ill. - Following four weeks of lead-up, Semifinal voting began today in the men's brackets of the inaugural Wheaton Bracket Madness, a fun and unofficial way to crown the favorite men's and women's teams in Wheaton Athletics history. The semifinals feature matchups involving the 1956-57 Men's Basketball team, the 2014 Men's Soccer team, and the 2003 and 2019 Football teams. The competition takes place via fan voting on Wheaton's social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram), and on the Wheaton Athletics Website (CLICK HERE for men's voting on the Wheaton Website and CLICK HERE for women's voting).  The brackets began with 32 all-time great Wheaton men's teams and 28 all-time great women's teams with suggestions given by fans on social media as well as athletic department staff past and present. The Semifinal round for the Women's bracket opens on Thursday at noon. Championship voting will open on Monday, April 27, with the winners being announced on April 29.
