Wheaton Athletics extends its CSC Academic All-America streak to 27 years in 2025-26

Wheaton Athletics produced six CSC Academic All-Americans in 2025-26. Thunder football produced three Academic All-Americans in: Joseph Bracy (Football);  David Nussbaum (Football); and Josiah Smith (Football). Jack Krahel of Wheaton men's soccer, Soren Richardson of the Thunder men's basketball team and women's swimmer Tess Boyer rounded out Wheaton's Academic All-Americans this year. 

This year's six honorees marked the 27th-consecutive season that Wheaton has produced at least one selection to the prestigious program. Wheaton's current streak is the longest active streak in the CCIW, and it ranks seventh among all NCAA Division III Schools (CLICK HERE TO SEE THESE LISTS).

Here is a look at Wheaton's 86 CSC Academic All-Americans in that 27-year streak.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Currently, College Sports Communicators (CSC) sponsors Academic All-America® programs for men's soccer, women's soccer, football, volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis, men's swimming, women's swimming, men's track and field/cross country, and women's track and field/cross country. Many other sports are eligible through the at-large program. In 1999-2000 women's track & field and women's soccer were part of the at-large program. From 2011-12 until 2017-18, the program was comprised of four divisional teams including NCAA DI, DII, DII and a college division that included NAIA, Canadian and two-year student-athletes. Prior to that, there were two divisions — University Division (NCAA D1) and a College Division (all others). Currently the Academic All-America® program is comprised of divisional teams for NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA and a separate at-large program for two-year schools and Canadian institutions.
