Wheaton, Ill. - Following four weeks of lead-up, Quarterfinal voting began today in the men's brackets of the inaugural Wheaton Bracket Madness, a fun and unofficial way to crown the favorite men's and women's teams in Wheaton Athletics history. The competition takes place via fan voting on Wheaton's social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram), and on the Wheaton Athletics Website (CLICK HERE for men's voting on the Wheaton Website and CLICK HERE for women's voting).  The brackets consist of 32 all-time great Wheaton men's teams and 28 all-time great women's teams with suggestions given by fans on social media as well as athletic department staff past and present. Voting on men's teams in the Quarterfinal round begins on Monday and concludes at the end of the day Tuesday. Voting on women's teams in the Quarterfinal round begins on Tuesday at noon and will conclude at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday. Semifinal round voting in the Men's bracket voting begins on Wednesday at noon and concludes on Thursday at 11:59 p.m. The Semifinal round for the Women's bracket opens on Thursday at noon. Championship voting will open on Monday, April 27, with the winners being announced on April 29.
