Wheaton, Ill. – Recently 13 of Wheaton's student-athletes in winter sports were recognized as CSC Division III Academic All-District selections as part of the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Program. These 13 Wheaton competitors join
23 Wheaton student-athletes that earned All-District awards in the fall. Wheaton had Academic All-District selections in all four of the winter programs:
men's basketball,
women's basketball,
men's swimming & diving and
women's swimming & diving.
Thus far in 2025-26 Wheaton has produced 36 Academic All-District selections, including five CSC Academic All-Americans. The five Academic All-Americans so far in 2025-26 are:
Joseph Bracy (football),
Jack Krahel (men's soccer),
David Nussbaum (football),
Soren Richardson (men's basketball),
Josiah Smith (football). Wheaton produced 61 Academic All-District selections in the 2024-25 campaign, with women's swimmer
Tess Boyer earning Academic All-America honors.
The Academic All-District® teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field, on the court, in the pool, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division III CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division III Academic All-America® program.
