Wheaton, Ill. -- The selections for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships have been announced, and Wheaton junior
Grace Crowder has qualified for the upcoming national meet in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The New Hampshire native will compete in the women's high jump event on Friday, May 22 as the first Thunder women's track & field athlete to participate in the outdoor national championships since 2023. Crowder is set to make her debut at the outdoor finals after collecting Second Team All-America recognition from the USTFCCCA in the high jump at the DIII indoor championships in March.
This year's NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships will be held at the Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The women's high jump competition is scheduled to take place at 2:00 PM next Friday, May 22nd. Crowder goes into the event with the joint seventh-highest seed mark in the 22-woman field at 1.71 meters (5' 7.25"). She achieved this height at last month's Drake Relays after capturing her second conference title in the high jump at the CCIW Championships. Her 1.71-meter performance is an outdoor school record in the women's high jump.
