La Crosse, Wis. -- Wheaton College junior
Grace Crowder competed in the women's high jump on Friday at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Crowder finished 19th in the 22-woman field in the high jump.
Crowder cleared the opening height of 1.59 meters (5' 2-1/2") on her second attempt. She was unable to clear the next height at 1.64 meters (5' 4-1/2") today to place 19th overall.
Today's effort marked Crowder's debut at the outdoor finals after collecting Second Team All-America recognition from the USTFCCCA in the high jump at the Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in March.
Crowder entered today's event tied for the seventh-highest seed mark in the 22-woman field at 1.71 meters (5' 7-1/4"). She achieved qualifying mark at last month's Drake Relays and later captured her second conference title in the high jump at the CCIW Championships. Her 1.71-meter performance is an outdoor school record in the women's high jump.
