Thunder women's golf team participates in unofficial CCIW Preview event

Sohee Kang managed to complete her round before weather cut the competition short
Pewaukee, Wis. -- Unfavorable weather conditions cut the 2022 CCIW women's golf fall preview event short on Tuesday evening, but two Thunder golfers managed to complete their rounds, and Wheaton slotted in fourth place in standings that were affected by the number of players who were unable to play through.

Sohee Kang was the highest finisher for Wheaton at the event, posting a tally of 92. Mary Beth Claire Rogero carded a round total of 106. Lizzy Stone and Sasha Danielson left the course before completing their rounds due to the inclement weather, so they were assigned incomplete tallies of 177 and 276.

Wheaton is back on the links again on Friday for day one of the UW-Whitewater Fall Classic in Wisconsin, and the team will be hoping for playable conditions in this weekend's event.
