Wheaton, Ill. – A pair Thunder football players represent Wheaton on the 2022 Associated Press (AP) Division III All-America football team. Guard

Ben Juska each earned Second Team All-America honors from the organization.
This is the second All-America award for Gabriele (PICTURED LEFT) this week. He was named a First Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association on Tuesday (AFCA). Last week, Gabriele was a named as a First Team All-Region Five selection at guard by D3football.com. He keyed a Thunder offense that is fifth in Division III in total offense with a school record 507.2 yards per game. The Thunder offense ended the season 16th in D3 in rushing offense (225.8 YPG) and 27th in passing offense (281.4 YPG).

Juska (PICTURED RIGHT) is the third Wheaton tight end to be named an AP Division III All-American since the team began in 2017, joining Zach Lindquist (2017) and
Spencer Peterson (2019).
Ben Juska previously has been named to the All-CCIW First Team and the D3football.com All-Region 5 Team this year. The sophomore caught 24 passes this season, including five for touchdowns. Juska accumulated 331 receiving yards in a breakout season.
The 2022 season marks the fifth season that the Associated Press has named student athletes to a Division III All-America Team. Previously Division III football players were named to the Associated Press "Little All-America Team" that also consisted of NCAA Division II player and NAIA standouts. Since the Associated Press Division III All-America Team began in 2017, Wheaton has produced 11 All-America selections. Tight end Zach Lindquist and defensive end Chase Greenlee were named to the
inaugural Associated Press Division III All-America Team in 2017. In 2018, linebacker
Eric Stevenson picked up First Team recognition. McRae and cornerback Spencer Rowland represented the Wheaton defense on the
2019 AP All-America Team. Four Wheaton players earned
selection to the 2021 AP All-America Team as defensive end

Jake Hibben and tight end
Spencer Peterson on the first team, while linebacker
Ryan Schwartz was a Second Team honoree.
