Cave Creek, Ariz. - The Thunder women's golf team lost a match play contest against Arizona Christian University on Thursday afternoon. Wheaton fell to the Firestorm 3-1/2 to 2-1/2. The match was Wheaton's lone competition during its desert stay.

Madeline Birckbichler and Karissa Raschke each won their matches 3 & 2 and Kylie Monson halved her match to earn Wheaton's team points. Alexa Pontus lost 6 & 5, Rachel Goranson fell 4 & 3 and Madeline Bond lost 2 & 1.

Wheaton will next be in action on March 28 and 29 at the TPC Deere Run Invitational.
