GAME STATS Wheaton, Ill. – The Wheaton women's soccer team (15-1-2) used a late goal to defeat Augustana 1-0 on Wednesday night in the CCIW Tournament Semifinal.
The top-seeded Thunder will host third-seed Carthage (13-4-1) on Saturday night at 7:30 PM in the CCIW Tournament Championship Match. Students from CCIW member institutions, with a valid student ID will be admitted free of charge. Admission for adults is $6 for, $4 for students and youth. Children under five years old will be admitted for free. Wheaton season passes, CCIW Parents passes and faculty/staff passes will not be accepted.
Carthage tied Illinois Wesleyan (12-2-5) on Wednesday in the other semifinal match and the Lady Reds advanced to Saturday's championship match with a 4-2 advantage in the penalty kick shootout. The winner of Saturday's CCIW Tournament Championship Match will earn the conference's automatic bid to next week's NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament.
The Thunder and Vikings played a scoreless first half in tonight's meeting. Wheaton owned a 4-2 advantage in shots in the first half.

Anna Seabolt with just 29.5-seconds remaining in regulation and Seabolt chipped in the game-winning goal. The goal was Seabolt's third score of the season.

Kelsey Graham made three saves in the Wheaton net to record her fifth shutout of the season. Augustana goalkeeper Meredith Chew made three saves and allowed the one late goal. Wheaton out-shot the Vikings 8-4 on the night. Wheaton had five corner kicks and Augustana was awarded one corner kick.
