Wheaton, Ill. -- Both Thunder soccer teams have earned the right to host a CCIW Tournament Quarterfinal at Joe Bean Stadium following the conclusion of the regular season on Wednesday night. The Wheaton men will enter this year's conference tournament as the #4 seed and will face Carroll University, while the Wheaton women have also secured the #4 seed and will take on North Park University in the opening round. Both quarterfinal matches are scheduled for this Saturday, with the men's game kicking off at 2:00 PM followed by the women's match that will begin at approximately, but no earlier, than 4:30 PM. This year marks the first time that Wheaton will host two quarterfinal fixtures since the CCIW expanded its soccer conference tournaments to six teams in 2022.
The cost of admission for all CCIW Tournament matches is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors (65 years and above), grade school students, and children above the age of five. Kids ages five and under are allowed in free of charge, as are current students of CCIW institutions upon presentation of a current student ID.
No season passes or pass lists will be accepted at tournament matches. Tickets can be purchased at the front gate entrance of Bean Stadium on Saturday with cash or credit.
Saturday's matches will be live streamed on the CCIW Network and live statistics will be provided for both contests.
