Thunder women's soccer team tops Illinois Wesleyan, 4-0

GAME STATS Bloomington, Ill. - The Wheaton women's soccer team team remained undefeated in conference play with a 4-0 victory against Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday night. Wheaton is now 14-2-2 on the year, with a 4-0-1 record in conference play.

The Thunder owned a 1-0 lead at halftime thanks to a goal in the 41st minute by Kristin Rauh.

The Thunder registered three goals in the first 20 minutes of the second half to secure the win. Freshman Ally Witt extended Wheaton's lead to 2-0 with a goal just 1:34 into the second half. Witt netted her second goal of the night and 11th goal of the year in the 61st minute to increase the guests' lead to 3-0. Sophomore Sarah Guidera scored the fourth and final goal in the 66th minute to account for Wheaton's 4-0 victory.

Wheaton out-shot the Titans 15-5 in the match and each team took two corner kicks. Wheaton goalkeeper Kelsey Graham recorded her sixth shutout of the season.
