GAME STATS Naperville, Ill. – The Wheaton women's soccer team was a 5-0 winner at North Central College in a conference match on Wednesday afternoon. Wheaton is now 11-2-1 on the year and 3-0-0 in CCIW action. The Thunder will host Elmhurst College on Saturday afternoon in a 4:30 PM match at Joe Bean Stadium.
Wheaton held a 3-0 lead at halftime, with three first-half goals.
Alexa Sharkey gave the Thunder a 1-0 advantage with her third goal of the year in the 12th minute. Junior
Leah DeMoss extended Wheaton's lead to 2-0 in the 17th minute with her team-best and CCIW-leading 15th goal of the season. Freshman Mary Petitt netted her first collegiate goal in the 39th minute when she scored on an assist from sophomore

Sydney Sharkey assist in the 55th minute of the match to increase Wheaton's lead to 4-0. Witt netted her second goal of the match, and ninth goal of the season, in the 68th minute to account for the 5-0 final score.

Hilary Barreto recorded her second shutout of the year, making three saves in 90 minutes of work. North Central netminder Jacqueline Clore made seven saves and allowed five goals in her 90 minutes in the net.
