Wheaton College Athletics

Sarah Moore is a junior on the women's golf team. Below is a brief interview with Sarah.

Q: What is your major?
 
A: Elementary Education and Spanish minor
 
Q: What (if any) plans do you have after graduation?
 
A: My plans after college are up in the air as of now. This is exciting and intimidating at the same time. I hope to be teaching somewhere but I’m also open to any adventure that might come my way.
 
Q: Why did you choose to attend Wheaton and golf?
 
A: I first heard about Wheaton from my brother who graduated this past May. I never imagined I’d attend the same school as my brother and even looked at schools in warmer climates but the more I learned about Wheaton, I realized what a special school it was. I loved that Wheaton was Christ centered and strong academically.  As for golf, I had played the game since I was little and was excited that I could continue it at a school like Wheaton.
 
Q: What do you enjoy most about Wheaton?
 
A: The people!!! I feel like everyone talks about the community but it is really something special. There are so many wonderful people here and I feel so blessed to be a part of this school!
 
Q: What is your favorite golf memory so far in your time at Wheaton
 
A: There are so many good ones so I don’t know if I can pick a favorite but I will list a few. Playing golf with my brother the first two years of school, having conference at Cantigny my freshman year and they ever so fun spring break trips with the golf team.
