Q: What is your major?
A: Elementary Education

Q: What are looking to do following graduation?
A: Teach in an Elementary School, preferably grades K-2 and coach basketball or softball.

Q: What made you decide to attend Wheaton four years ago?
A: I have wanted to go to school at Wheaton College since I was in High School. I visited multiple times and loved the community and the coaches and athletes that I talked to that confirmed my decision to come to Wheaton.

Q: What do you enjoy about playing softball at Wheaton?
A: The softball program is really a wonderful program! We are a family and it has been awesome getting closer with the girls throughout my fours years here and forming relationships that will last far past our time at Wheaton. The coaches really invest in us and push us in developing our softball skills along with teaching us life lessons. It has been such an awesome experience and I will truly miss my teammates and coaches.

Q: The softball team has had a strong 2011 season, what have been some highlights?
A: One highlight for the 2011 season was our Spring Break trip to Arizona. We bonded so much as a team and learned how we could play together while having fun and winning.

Another few highlights have been our winning streak at home and how we have always fought in every game and never given up. We have really worked hard in off-season and continued that work ethic throughout the season.

Sweeping Elmhurst was a great feeling and then splitting with North Central was amazing! We haven’t beaten North Central in five years and it was really nice to beat them my senior year! We have really shown that we are threat in conference play and plan on keeping that winning attitude and fight throughout the coming weeks.
