Lara Stamp earns her fourth weekly diving accolade from the CCIW

Naperville, Ill. -- The latest round of weekly swimming and diving awards were announced by the conference office this afternoon, and Wheaton's Lara Stamp earned another recognition as the CCIW Diving Student-Athlete of the Week following her performance in the Thunder's dual meet against Lake Forest College last Saturday. Today's honor marks the second-consecutive weekly award for Stamp and her fourth of the season, now the outright most of any female or male diver in the conference in 2024-25.

The freshman from Valparaiso, Indiana took 11 dives off of the 1-meter board in Saturday's meet and earned an impressive total score of 413.90. That mark is the highest in the CCIW this season and currently ranks 13th in all of Division III. Additionally, Stamp's score was enough to secure qualification to the upcoming NCAA Regional meet, which will be held February 28-March 1 at Grinnell College in Iowa. The rookie became the first Thunder diver since 2015 to achieve a NCAA Regional cut, and her mark of 413.90 is the second-highest in program history.

Stamp also earned a new personal-best score of 228.85 on the 3-meter board on Saturday to further cement her credentials for the latest weekly honor.

The next event on Wheaton's schedule is Saturday's North Central Invitational in Naperville.
