Tucson, Ariz. -- Today's non-conference baseball doubleheader between Wheaton and Sul Ross State University has been scrapped due to rainy conditions in the Tucson area. The Thunder are still scheduled to return to the field on Saturday morning to close out their Spring Break slate against Gustavus Adolphus College.
The Wheaton squad defeated the Golden Gusties 11-9 on Tuesday morning and will take on the same opponent at 9:30 AM local time tomorrow after an unplanned three-day layoff from competition. The Thunder will fly home from Tucson following tomorrow's contest and begin preparations for the 2024 home opener, which is set for one week from today.
