Hanover Park, Ill. - The Wheaton women's tennis team hosted Illinois Wesleyan (1-8, 0-6 CCIW) on Saturday afternoon for a CCIW matchup. Today's contest was moved from the outdoor courts on the Wheaton campus to the indoor courts at Centre Court Athletic Club in Hanover Park. Wheaton (5-3, 4-1 CCIW) defeated the Titans 9-0 in today's match.
Wheaton swept through doubles action against the Titans. The Thunder No. 1 doubles team of
Emme Lindquist and
Abygale Ahn earned an 8-4 win against the Titans' tandem of Anna Cooper and Ashley Mohr.
Claire Dibble and
Bethany Hoogerheide earned an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles agaisnt Rebecca Rochaz and Katelyn Heller. Wheaton's No. 3 doubles team of
Lindsey Anderson and
Sarah Backer earned a victory by forfeit.
Lindquist was a 6-0, 6-4 victor at No. 1 singles against the Titans' Rebecca Rochaz. Ahn was a 6-0, 6-0 winner against Cooper at No. 2 singles. Dibble earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory versus Mohr in their matchup at No. 3 singles. Hoogerheide defeated Heller 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4 singles. Backer won her match at No. 5 singles via a forfeit, as did Wheaton's No. 6 singles player

Wheaton hosts North Park on Wednesday night at 4:30 p.m. in a CCIW match on the Wheaton campus.
