Wheaton, Illinois - On Friday, March 13, the The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Council of Presidents met via teleconference to discuss the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Based upon guidance from the CDC and state and local health departments and in light of the NCAA's announcement yesterday to cancel winter and spring sport championships, the CCIW Council of Presidents have voted unanimously to cancel all conference competition for the remainder of the spring season. 

Based on this decision by the CCIW Council of Presidents, effective Monday, March 16, all Wheaton College varsity athletic practices and competitions for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic calendar are cancelled.

All student-athletes should return to campus and follow the guidance from Student Development about checking out of campus housing and return all equipment to the equipment room.

Wheaton Athletics is proud of all our student-athletes and the excellent way they represented Christ and His Kingdom this year.
