Lake Geneva, Wis. - The Thunder men's tennis team opened its weekend trip to the UW-Whitewater Tournament this weekend with a match on Friday morning against the host Warhawks of UW-Whitewater (4-1). The Warhawks defeated Wheaton 9-0 in the match.
Wheaton is now 1-1 on the season and will conclude its participation in the tournament on Saturday morning with a pair of matches. The Thunder face Luther College on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and Wheaton wraps up its participation in the tournament with a match at 11:45 a.m. against Grinnell.
