Hannah Frazier has been named 2019-20 Preseason All-American by D3hoops.com. A First Team selection, she was an honorable mention preseason All-American from the website last year. Frazier (2018-19 & 2019-20) is the fourth Wheaton women's basketball player to be a preseason All-American by D3hoops.com since the website began the preseason recognition in 2011-12 as she is joined by: Katie McDaniels (
2016-17 &
2015-16); Ellie Zeller (
2014-15) and Laura Karsten (
2011-12).
In 2018-19, Frazier was unanimous All-American. She was named a First Team All-American by D3hoops.com and was named the D3hoops.com Central Region Player of the Year. The 2018-19 CCIW Women's Basketball Player of the Year, Frazier ranked second in Division III in blocked shots last year with 89 total blocked shots. Her school single-season record of 559 points ranked eighth in Division III last season and she was 16th in Division III in points per game. The junior was 13th in the country in field goals made with 199.
Frazier debuted with the Thunder last season, after transferring into Wheaton from St. Louis University. As a sophomore last year, she was named the 2017-18 CCIW Newconer of the Year and earned First Team All-CCIW recognition. Frazier was a D3hoops.com Second Team All-Central Region selection for the Thunder last winter.
Wheaton, ranked 14th in the D3hoops.com preseason Top-25 poll, opens the season this Saturday at home against No. 12 Texas-Dallas.
