Kate Oliver named to All-CCIW Women's Basketball Team for the second consecutive season

Wheaton, Ill. - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its All-Conference women's basketball team on Monday afternoon. Senior Kate Oliver was named to the All-CCIW First Team recognition for her 2025-26 campaign. Petra Trumbach was honored as Wheaton's RESPECT Award honoree in women's basketball.

Oliver picks up First Team All-CCIW accolades for her second career All-Conference award following a Second Team All-CCIW selection in 2024-25. In 24 games this season, Oliver has a team-high 13.1 points per game, with 4.8 rebounds per game, and she has added 2.3 assists per game. Oliver averaged 12.7 points per game in 15 CCIW games this season. In league play, she gathered 5.0 rebounds per game, and 3.1 assists per game. She was named the CCIW women's basketball "Student-Athlete" of the Week on February 16th for her outstanding effort in Thunder victories against Augustana and North Park.

Petra Trumbach (PICTURED LEFT) was Wheaton's honoree of the RESPECT Award. At the conclusion of every sports season, each varsity program will recognize one student-athlete as their RESPECT Award honoree. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourages inclusiveness and a positive culture.
