Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton women's soccer team (16-1-1) shut out North Park University, 9-0 on Saturday night to close out the regular season with an 8-0 CCIW record. Wheaton earns its league-best 21st CCIW Championship. The Thunder have won 21 of the CCIW's 25 CCIW Championships in women's soccer.
The Thunder led 2-0 at halftime on a pair of first-half goals by
Isabelle Oliver. Oliver's first goal in the 21st minute

Sara Bakke. Wheaton out-shot the Vikings 18-1 in the first half, including a 9-0 edge in shots on goal.
Carney Blake started Wheaton's second-half scoring with a goal in the 46th minute
(VIDEO). Oliver earned a hat-trick with her third goal of the night in the 51st minute
(VIDEO) on an assist from
Sophia Lindquist. Lindquist extended Wheaton's lead to 5-0 with a goal in the 54th minute

Tori Seeland.
Hannah Max scored in the 65th minute to increase Wheaton's lead to 6-0

Taylor Rudin increased Wheaton's lead to 8-0 with a goal in the 74th minute
(VIDEO) that was assisted by McKenna Gulley. Wheaton's final goal was tallied by
Carlye Fatum (VIDEO) with an assist from Thorne in the 78th minute. Wheaton out-shot the Vikings 17-1 in the second half, including a 12-1 advantage in shots on goal.

Lauren Ketchum played the first 45 minutes in goal.
Madison Lee made one save in 45 minutes of action in the Wheaton net. North Park's Theresa Weiss made 10 saves and allowed five goals in 62 minutes of action in the net. Cassie Fajardo played 28 minutes in the Vikings' net with two saves and four goals allowed.
Wheaton out-shot the Vikings 35-2, including a 21-1 edge in shots on goal. Wheaton was awarded six corner kicks in the match.
Wheaton, the number-one seed in the upcoming CCIW Women's Soccer Tournament, will host fourth-seeded Augustana (10-3-2, 5-3-0 CCIW) on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. in a CCIW Women's Soccer Tournament Semifinal matchup at Joe Bean Stadium.
