2018 Female Performance of the Year

Voting now open for 2018 Female Performance of the Year

Wheaton, Ill.- Voting is now open for the 2018 Wheaton Female Performance of the Year! In its second year, this year's award features performances by Favor Ezewuzie, Hannah Frazier, Marin Halvorsen, Hannah Roeske, and Kelly Thornton. There are several ways to vote for your favorite performance:

1. Vote in the official poll on our Facebook page.
2. Vote on Twitter using the official hashtag tied to each performance.
3. Number of likes on each performer's picture on Instagram

The winner will be determined by a combination of Instagram likes (40%), Twitter hashtag mentions (30%) and Facebook poll results (30%).

The Finalists

#WCPerfEzewuzie

Favor Ezewuzie broke three school records and was named the Athlete of the Meet at the 2018 Indoor Track and Field Championships as Wheaton won its second-consecutive CCIW title.

#WCPerfFrazier

Opening the CCIW schedule on the road, Hannah Frazier paced Wheaton to a win over North Park with a career-high 31 points and 11 rebounds.

#WCPerfHalvorsen

Marin Halvorsen separated from the field at the 2018 CCIW Women's Golf Championship with an even-par first round and led wire-to-wire to become the second player in program history to win Individual Medalist honors for the Thunder.

#WCPerfRoeske
Under scorching heat at the 2018 Outdoor Track and Field NCAA Championships, Hannah Roeske became the first athlete ever to earn All-American honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and the 5,000 meters on the same day.

Leading Wheaton to a pair of wins to continue their undefeated start to the season, Kelly Thornton tallied 16 kills, 47 assists, and nine service aces as Wheaton defeated Washington (Md.) and Randolph-Macon on the first day of the Marymount Invitational.


Voting is open until the end of the day on January 4, 2019. The 2018 award winners will be announced during the broadcast of the men's basketball game against Carroll on January 5, 2019.
